Kid Cudi cancels “Insano” world tour after Coachella heel injury

Kid Cudi’s plans to hit the road have been put on hold after a serious injury sustained during his performance at Coachella.

The rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 24, to share that he has fractured his calcaneus (heel bone) and will require surgery.
“There’s no way I can get back up in time to give my 100%,” Cudi wrote, expressing frustration.

The injury, which was initially underestimated, turned out to be much more serious than expected. Cudi has been gearing up for his “Insano” world tour, which will kick off at the end of July. Although fans will miss out for now, the musician assured everyone that those who purchased tickets will receive a full refund and promised to reschedule the date as soon as possible.

Despite the obstacles, Cudi remains positive and grateful for the support. “I’m really disappointed…but I’ll be back. That’s a promise,” he wrote.
