Children from ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ is all SUPER grown up now, and we’re not OK
The adorable trio of child actors from the classic 1993 comedy “Mrs. Doubtfire,” starring the late and great Robin Williams, are all grown up and looking back on their time together.
Mara Wilson shared a photo of herself with “Doubtfire” actors Matthew Lawrence and Lisa Jakub to her verified Instagram on Thursday, in conjunction with the group’s appearance on Lawrence’s “Brotherly Love Podcast” with her brothers Joey and Andrew.
“It’s so funny that the same week I go to San Francisco, I get to reunite with my Doubtfire sisters!” Wilson wrote, adding that “it’s always a pleasure to see” them.
Jakub also posted the photo to Instagram, writing in the caption, “Siblings have so much fun hanging out with siblings. @marawilson and @matthewlawrence still feel like brothers to me – even 30 years after filming Mrs Doubtfire.”
In an episode of the “Brotherly Love” podcast, released Friday, cast members reflected on what it was like working with Williams, who is known for always going off the book. Wilson also stated that as a ’90s child star, she often felt like she was “raised by idiots.”
Robin Williams died in 2014 at the age of 63.
“Mrs. Doubtfire” stars Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan and Harvey Fierstein, and follows a divorced father of three (Williams) who creates the persona of a maid to get closer to his children amid a bitter custody dispute .The film won the 1994 Oscar for best makeup.
