About 40 of the roughly 100 people who set up a pro-Palestinian encampment on Denver’s Auraria Campus were arrested Friday, the campus said in a statement.

“Although those who gathered at the start of Thursday’s protest did so peacefully, some participants set up encampments as the demonstration took place, in violation of that policy,” the campus said.
