The Google app helps customize the search widget on Android easily
In 2018, Google launched a customizable search widget, which it now adds a personalized feature to manually place on the home screen.
When trying to move an existing widget, users will see a pencil icon suggesting edit options, from which they can choose between bar logo, bar shape, bar color and bar shading.
New widgets can be saved and used easily from the home screen.
Customizable Google search widgets were previously only possible through the Google app settings. The new change, however, is available for Android 12+ version 13.40, Engadget reports.
