Drake Officially Drops Kendrick Lamar’s “Push Ups”
Drake has added fuel to his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar by officially releasing his diss track “Push Ups” on the streaming service. The song, which was initially leaked as a demo, features a jab at Lamar’s shoe size, referencing his album “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers”.
The release follows a whirlwind weekend where the “Push Ups” demo featuring M.A.F.I.A Junior was leaked. The sample caused controversy and speculation. Drake seems to confirm the song’s authenticity with a cryptic “Kill Bill” Instagram post.
“Push Ups” sparked heated debate online and even drew a swift response from Rick Ross, who was also insulted in the song. Ross fired back with “Champagne Moments” and blasted Drake with a hoodie featuring the rapper’s face.
The feud started when J. Cole named Lamar as one of the rapper’s “big three” in a Drake collaboration last year. Lamar took offense and responded with a surprise verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That”. J.
