Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum and New York Giants star Darren Waller have ended their marriage after just one year, according to court documents obtained by the New York Post.

The news shocked fans of the high-profile sports couple.

Plum took to Instagram on Tuesday April 23 to share a cryptic message about her story, hinting at a split.

“I’m devastated,” he wrote. “I went through the fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go. God has given me an amazing life, and I am truly grateful for the love from my family and friends. One day I will share my story , today is not that day.”

The news follows speculation about the couple’s relationship status earlier this year after Waller posted a TikTok video, featuring text that read, “When ya girl bout to leave you.” However, he denied any issue at that time.

The couple married in March 2023, just days before Waller was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Giants.

Both Plum and Waller are considering their futures – Plum preparing for the upcoming WNBA season and Waller deciding whether to retire or return to the NFL.
