Taylor Swift is thrilled with the positive reviews for “The Tortured Poets Department”
Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” has received critical acclaim from several publications.
Swift took to Instagram on April 21 to re-share some of the comments, writing lyrics from the album for each post on her story.
Beginning with a Rolling Stone review, he took a lyric from the album’s title track, “And that’s the closest thing to my exploding heart.”
The 14-time Grammy winner captioned The Times interview next, with lyrics from “The Alchemy.”
The singer ended his series of posts with another lyric from “The Tortured Poets Department” for The Independent commenting, “Everyone we know understands why it had to happen.”
With 31 tracks – as of the latest 2am surprise release – Swift’s new album has broken Spotify’s record, making her the most streamed artist in a single day.
He also holds the last three records for most-streamed album, with “The Tortured Poets Department” besting “Midnights” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
