A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a 14-year-old Israeli boy in the occupied West Bank, Israeli police said Monday.
Hundreds of Israeli settlers besieged Palestinian villages and attacked residents across the occupied West Bank after Binyamin Achiair, who went missing from the settlement on April 12, was found dead. The Israeli military said he was killed in a “terrorist attack.”
“In the last day there was an important development in the investigation, and at night the team raided the village of Duma and led to the arrest of the suspect,” the police said.
In a joint operation by the Shin Bet, the Israel Police and the Israel Defense Forces, 21-year-old Ahmed Duavsha was arrested.
