The Kerem Shalom crossing was reopened for the influx of aid, Israel said
The Kerem Shalom border crossing between southern Gaza and Israel has reopened for humanitarian aid, Israeli authorities said on Wednesday.
The crossing has been closed to aid deliveries since Sunday when a nearby rocket attack killed four Israeli soldiers.
In a statement Wednesday, the Coordination of Government Activities in the Region (COGAT) said aid trucks arrived at the facility and will be moved to the Gaza side after a “thorough security check.”
CNN has reached out to the Gaza Strip Authority for comment from the Palestinian side.
