Tekken 8’s new DLC character Lidia Sobieska will be released this summer
Tekken fans are in for a treat: the newest downloadable content character – Tekken 7’s Lidia Sobieska – will launch this summer for Tekken 8.
Game developer Bandai Namco Entertainment (BNE) announced new characters at Japan’s biggest gaming festival, EVO Japan 2024.
The company also showcased a teaser trailer, featuring their new character.
Lidia Sobieska marks the second DLC character announced for Tekken 8, following Eddy Gordo, who was announced earlier this month.
There are two additional announcements for fighters joining the game this fall and winter in the Year 1 Pass.
Season 1 of the game will also include several free updates, including a new stage (“Seaside Resort”), a new main story chapter, exploring what Season 1 characters do during Tekken 8’s cinematic story mode.
There’s also a new “Photo Mode” that lets players create and record their own epic battle moments.
Tekken 8 is currently available on several platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
