Israel’s war cabinet meets to consider a response to the Iranian attack. Follow the latest developments

Israel will “assess the exact price from Iran in a way and time that suits us,” war cabinet minister Benny Gantz said on Sunday, following Iran’s drone and missile attacks on Israel.

Iran “met the strength of Israel’s security system,” Gantz said, referring to the minimal damage caused by the attack that involved hundreds of projectiles.

His comments came as Israel’s war cabinet met.

The cabinet consisted of Gantz, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Among others who were present on Sunday was the Chief of Staff of the Defense Forces Lt. General Herzi Halevi, Mossad director David Barnea, observer members Gadi Eisenkot and Aryeh Deri, national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi and cabinet secretary Yossi Fuchs.
