Has Joe Alwyn finally moved on from Taylor Swift?
Joe Alwyn is reportedly “doing well” and “focused on work” more than a year after his split from the pop icon.
According to a source from People Magazine, the 33-year-old actor is “dating and happy,” stressing that “he’s a great guy and doesn’t like drama in any way.”
Alwyn has “moved on” from Swift, 34, and “definitely doesn’t talk bad about her,” the source said. “He fell in love with her, and it didn’t work out.”
The source also mentioned, “Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it. He is uncomfortable in the spotlight.”
Alwyn and Swift were first linked in May 2017, and fans believe they met at the 2016 Met Gala.
Their first public appearance together was in 2018. In an interview with The Guardian in August 2019, Swift stated, “Our relationship is not for discussion.”
While promoting her last album before her breakup with Alwyn, “Midnights,” she described the song “Lavender Haze” as addressing the challenges of dating in the spotlight.
In a now-deleted Instagram video of the song, she talked about her six-year relationship: “we had to avoid weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignored it.”
The “Fortnight” singer is currently dating former Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and the couple was first spotted together in September 2023.
