Davido ignores “disruption” in marriage to confirm commitment to wife Chioma
Nigerian music star Davido celebrated his wife Chioma’s birthday by publicly affirming his loyalty to her, despite what he described as “interference” aimed at their relationship.
In a recent video on his X account (formerly Twitter), Davido addressed unspoken criticism or negative attention towards their marriage, encouraging his followers to ignore them.
“They are trying to distract us baby, don’t care about them …,” Davido wrote in the post, showing his commitment to their relationship amid outside pressure.
The post showed Davido and Chioma arriving at a resort, presumably to celebrate her birthday together.
Last week, Davido also surprised Chioma with a bundle of cash and a bouquet of roses ahead of her 29th birthday.
She shared photos of these gifts on Instagram, including piles of cash, luxury items and personalized notes.
In addition to cash, Chioma received a bouquet of roses as they enjoyed a delicious dining experience.
Chioma, a chef, media personality and influencer by profession, will turn 29 on May 1. Davido confirmed his marriage to Chioma after years of speculation in March 2023.
The couple, who are parents to twins, exchanged vows in a traditional wedding ceremony on November 6, 2022, held at Davido’s father’s residence.
The event was an intimate affair, with only close family and friends in attendance, and no cameras were allowed.
