Just a week after Kyle Gordy and Anika were introduced on 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise, the latest episode featured their first official date in Malta.

In the episode, Kyle chooses to create a point system for his relationship with Anika. He is targeting a different dynamic than his past experiences, such as sperm donation. In this system, their relationship will develop based on his enjoyment of Anika’s actions.
According to him, the level of intimacy in their relationship increases when he gains points and decreases when he loses them.
Kyle arrives at an outdoor dinner party at a fancy restaurant wearing athletic shorts and a t-shirt, which Anika points out is the same outfit she wore when she arrived in Malta. He defended his choice, noting that Americans generally don’t pay attention to their clothing when eating out.
At this point, Anika has admitted to the audience that she is looking for an excuse to leave. Things take a turn for the worse when Kyle realizes he’s been drinking wine and expresses his dismay at his choice.
