USC warned arrested students that they face disciplinary action, the report said

The University of Southern California has notified students who were arrested during a protest on campus on April 24 that they face disciplinary action, according to the Daily Trojan student newspaper.

At least 93 people were arrested during the demonstration on the private campus, according to police.

The newspaper said students received the email Thursday afternoon.

“Following our normal practice, the alleged conduct that led to your arrest was referred to the university’s disciplinary process. You will have the opportunity to participate in the process and we will take every effort to resolve the case quickly and carefully,” the email read, according to a screenshot posted online by the newspaper.

The school said that further violations of university policy will result in “further discipline up to and including dismissal and immediate ban from campus.”

CNN has requested comment from USC on the email.
